This restaurant is perfect for the winter. The ambiance offers a cozy and intimate vibe. I went for brunch and loved their pancakes. They were fluffy and moist. I would love to go back to try their dinner menu.

We went here for brunch and ordered the omelette, hash potatoes, and the pancake breakfast. Everything was delicious, esp the pancakes! Both pot of coffee and tea were good and the restaurant alone is so rustic and cozy. Service was also very good and they checked in with us multiple times during our meal.

Amazing spot for brunch on a beautiful little street away from the craziness of the city. Our server was very accommodating and the ambience gives a rustic-barn-like-British feel. The pancakes and bacon were done to perfection! Would definitely come back for lunch/dinner.

Cute chalet vibes and the pancakes are the fluffiest I've ever had. The smoked fish platter and homemade bread are also amazing!

Amazing brunch. Low key and great food. Fish sampler was a nice offshoot from the traditional sweet and savory options. Venue was clean and noise level wasn't outrageous (like many other restaurants). We didn't have a chance to try the pancakes but after looking at them being delivered to other tables, that will be on the hit list next time.

Came for early dinner before 5pm on a Saturday and was seated quickly. Our server was attentive and friendly. It was relatively quiet and started getting a little busy around 5:30pm. The tartar sauce for the cod cakes was really good, otherwise nothing remarkable about the food, but no complaints. Didn't stay for dessert or order drinks, but may try those next time when I'm back in the area. The bar area seemed to be popular. Overall, a nice place for a low key neighborhood meal on a cute street.

A true hidden west village gem! Cozy old school vibes. The food and drinks were amazing but our bartender Emmanuel was the star of the night! Great service and cocktail recommendations. Thank you Eman!

Down to the precise location, the Commerce Inn is West Village perfection. The concept is fringy and (hopefully) off-putting to some, but as the son of someone who actually grew up eating some iteration of these dishes, I could appreciate the Commerce Inn deeply. I enjoyed the spoon bread, beef, and beans. However, it's quite difficult to explain to my father why I can't get a reservation before 10pm.

I always walk by this restaurant and finally got a chance to try it out. It has a very cozy west village vibe, with candles on each table. The food was also quite delicious, especially the tomato toast! I would recommend this place for an intimate date or for a small group.
